What I think I want to write about is the experience of finishing my first movie. Getting it done is about feeling that I’ve gotten sort of close to what I set out to say. How I thought it should feel. I can still remember feeling good after writing the script, the antic quality, confident that it would work as a quirky short. Somehow, the script blossomed and grew beyond a 10 minute story. The first rough cut was missing great chunks and so I explored being able to fill those chunks, another iteration more time and more money.
