A Dogged Determination

I thought I’d already begun a post on the almost obsolete topic of unfinished projects. It’s been on my list to finish that post, but I guess I never started it. Well, here we are anyway.

Since posting Illustrated Revelations on an Art of Self, I discovered and started applying David Allen’s Getting Things Done. Slowly but surely I am achieving a state of preparedness and organization that I’ve aspired to for decades.

With GTD I’ve zapped DOG distractions and made the way almost completely clear. Unfortunately, my personal life has become suddenly complicated and slightly frustrating. Work is now something of an escape! Implementing effective organization is a solace, a balm to my beleaguered soul.

Drama or Dharma? You decide.

Anyway, we’re back behind the wheel of the bus and pulling out of the parking lot. Nights of pulsing center lines ahead, taking in the slow dawn while rolling away shadowed forest, rock face blasted sheer and the ever wavering gray guard rails. We are on the road, heading towards a finish, ending an extensive and shattered serendipity.
